So I haven’t signed on in a longggg time but this morning I stumbled on the link I just posted and HAD to check in. (Check it out, its the New York’s magazine slide-show of 76 stars who’ve battled weight gain- SERIOUSLY CHECK IT OUT! I have all the motivation I’ll ever need! BOOKMARK THAT SHIT!)
I’ve been so busy (six classes and waitressing) that I have no time for myself anymore, but also no time to eat/workout! I have been drinking heavily and sometimes I’ll nibble at fries in the back, but all in all, I’ve lost about 10 lbs since September. I’ve been so busy, I haven’t seen my family since then and they are the most judgmental. I have 5 (FIVE!) amazonian, rail-thin sisters. Now that I have exactly a week till I see them again, I would do anything in the whole friggin’ world to lose another 10 pounds before I see them. I know it is going to be EXTREMELY difficult, but definitely plausible. My brother used to wrestle and would lose 5lbs (of water weight, obviously) in 2 days, so I’m just going to think about how great it is when they pick me up and I’m down 20 lbs since the last time they saw me. AMAZING!
What are everyone’s plan for Turkey Day? I’m lying and saying I’m vegetarian… no cheese either, so sorry no mashed potatoes. And I absolutely HATE pumpkin pie this year!
Anyone else freaking out about seeing your family? Do you think I have a chance of loosing 10lbs? Any tips?
